Who this is for:-
Members of Southern Lakes (Queenstown), Upper Clutha (Wanaka) and Central Otago (Alexandra) branches.
This hunt has been arranged so that NZDA members can help manage tahr numbers by reducing nanny numbers in the area that we hunt as part of DoC tahr control
The basic plan is to meet at Ferintosh Station which on the way to Mt Cook on the Friday night, scout that evening then hunt on Saturday and leave on the Sunday
Once we have confirmed numbers, we will have a zoom briefing session on the Wednesday 7.30 pm before and car pool options will be available
There will be a cost $120 pp for the 2 nights accommodation.
Station Shearers Quarters accommodation sleeping 16
We are staying in the shearers quarters – where there is generator power only that runs a few hours a day
Staying in bunk room huts. There is a lounge / kitchen and 1 shower and toilet.
You can drive your car to the front door and sight in rifles right there.
Directions
Head to the Mount Cook Road (State Highway 80), Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, we are some way before Aoraki Mt Cook Village

Full directions and packing details are included in the confirmation email, however if you register late (ie the day before) then you will have to ask for this to be sent to you.
