August Club Night – In Search of the Fiordland Moose with Steve Couper
Join us on Thursday 27 August at the Arrowtown Bowling Club for another great NZDASL club night.
This month we’re pleased to welcome Steve Couper from Stealth Films, who will be sharing his experience with Ken Tustin and their search for the Fiordland moose.
Steve, who is based here in Queenstown, has spent decades working in the film industry, specialising in the production of hunting and fly fishing photography and videography. He’ll be talking about his work alongside Ken Tustin and the search for the elusive Fiordland moose, with the story brought to life through compelling film footage from their adventures.
This promises to be a fascinating evening, sharing stories from the wilds of Fiordland and exploring one of New Zealand’s most enduring backcountry mysteries. Steve will cover the search itself, the challenges faced, the history behind the legend, and the intrigue that continues to surround the Fiordland moose.
Whether you’re interested in adventure, local history, wildlife, filmmaking, or simply enjoy a good story, this will be a memorable and worthwhile night.
