Get ready for a fun, family-friendly weekend of fishing at one of New Zealand’s most legendary freshwater spots—the Twizel Canals! With epic scenery, a relaxed vibe, and the chance to hook a monster trout or salmon, this is shaping up to be one of the social highlights of our club calendar.
What’s the plan?
This is a casual, bring-your-own-gear style trip open to all members and their families.
The Twizel Holiday Park will act as our base—camping, cabins, and group accommodation options are available. Book what suits your crew.

Fishing is land-based and accessible, perfect for kids and beginners too.
Some of the crew are bringing spare seats—reach out if you need a lift or can offer one.
Matt has generously offered a 22–24 seater bus for those wanting a more social travel option (first in, first served).
