Branch Birthday and First Annual Sausage Making Competition

It’s time to see whose sausage measures up

You’ve had all winter to perfect your technique: grinding, stuffing, seasoning. Now it’s time to show us what you’ve been working on. Whether it’s a fat brat, a spicy chorizo, or a firm, proud salami, we want to taste your handiwork.

We’ll be judging on all the usual measures: length, snap, and presentation.  But most importantly, taste.  Because no matter how big or pretty it is, if it doesn’t deliver in the mouth, it’s not a winner.

No store-bought bangers.
Just honest, home-stuffed meat, swinging with pride.

Bring the heat. Stroke your ego.
And may the most mouth-watering sausage claim the golden trophy.

1. Best in Show
   The ultimate all-rounder. Outstanding in flavour, texture, and presentation. The sausage everyone’s still talking about on the drive home.

2. Most Mouth-Watering
   Awarded for sheer taste. Juicy, balanced, and seasoned to perfection. This one disappears first off the platter.

3. The Big Banger
   For the sausage that’s… well, impressive in size. Girth, length, and presence all count. Subtlety not required.

4. Best Dressed
   Presentation is everything. This one’s for the sausage that showed up looking sharp.  Garnishes, plating, and flair all considered.

5. Spice of the Night
   Awarded to the sausage that brings the heat. Not just chilli, but bold, adventurous seasoning done right.

6. Most Original Recipe
   For the weird, the wonderful, and the wildly inventive. Think venison with juniper, or pork and pineapple with a twist. Risk-takers welcome.

7. The People’s Choice
   Voted by the crowd. No criteria, just pure popularity. Win their hearts (and taste buds).
