July Club Night – From Field to Family
Join us Thursday 31st July at the Arrowtown Bowling Club for a night dedicated to turning wild game into good. Learn how our hunting connects to helping local families, discover the work of KiwiHarvest, and sharpen your skills with a live butchery masterclass from one of our own.
Thanks to a generous $5,000 grant from the Queenstown Airport ZQN Community Fund, our club is processing more hunted game meat for donation to local families through KiwiHarvest. This initiative helps ensure quality wild venison reaches those in need while supporting conservation efforts

We’re pleased to welcome Gary Hough, Food Rescue Branch Lead & Driver for KiwiHarvest Queenstown. Gary will share insights into KiwiHarvest’s operations, how they help feed families in our community, and how hunters like us can get involved.
Founded in 2012 , KiwiHarvest has rescued and distributed over 14 million kilograms of food to 220 charitable organisations across New Zealand.
Live Butchery Masterclass with Alex Gale
Our own committee member Alex Gale, will lead a live butchery demonstration, showing how to process game meat for donation and sharing practical tips from over 50 years of hunting experience.
