WHEN: Friday 4th November through Sunday the 6th November
WHO: Any female NZDA member
COST: $75 per person to cover 2 nights of basic hut-style accommodation and radio hire
The ladies had a blast and learned so much hunting tahr together last year, we're looking forward to this next all-women hunting trip.
18 spots are open for female NZDA members to assemble on the shores of Lake Pukaki just south of beautiful Mount Cook for a weekend of tahr hunting, food and fun. Well-trained hunting dogs are allowed to come too with prior notice.
Trip accommodation is the shearers quarters at Ferintosh Station and we will have access to cross private land into the public hunting Ruataniwha Conservation Area. We will have blocks and maps organised for safe hunting and hopefully take advantage of "low-vember" when the tahr come a bit lower to feed.
