FAMILY & YOUTH WEEKEND mt Cook

(Hunting for tahr, rabbits and hares, plus lake fishing)

When: 7th Oct - 9th Oct

Where: Mount Cook area

Cost: $75 pp , children under 12 are $25

Includes: 2 nights accommodation at the Ferintosh Shearers Quarters, briefing sessions and safety plan organisation

What to Bring: Food, sleeping bags and rifles; everything else is provided.

Details: Arrive Friday anytime in the evening at Ferintosh Shearers Quarters (the entrance is on the road to Mt Cook)

Welcome and briefing 8am Saturday morning

Saturday will be hunting, Sunday will be youth shooting rifles and bows

Note: a DoC hunting permit is required for all those hunting on Public Conservation land. Please make sure you have the correct DOC open hunting permit for the "Eastern South Island, Canterbury Areas "
