COST: $60 per person to cover 3 nights of basic hut-style accommodation
The Southern Lakes NZDA Branch is pleased to announce an all-women hunting trip in the beautiful hunting playground of the South Island.
20 spots are open for female NZDA members to assemble in the Mavora area (between Queenstown and Te Anau) for a long weekend of authentic backcountry hunting, food and fun.
Trip accommodation is situated between 2 amazing DOC hunting blocks – Eyre Mountains and Snowden Forest/Mavora Lakes – and we will have blocks and maps organised for safe hunting with red deer, fallow deer, chamois and pigs in the area.

General Itinerary
Friday 23rd – Registration opens at 6pm, Safety briefing and block/buddy allocation at 8pm. Venison Sausages will be provided, bring your own sides.
Saturday 24th – Hunting from sunrise, assemble back at lodge in the evening for yarns and BYO dinner
Sunday 25th – Hunting from sunrise but a bit more laid back, back at lodge in the evening for those who wish to make it a full day. World-class fishing will also be on our doorstep if any ladies are keen to fish instead on day 2
Monday 26th – Packing up and heading home, all away by noon
