Meet Saturday morning at Remarks Car park 8 am till 5 pm and Sunday 8am to 5 pm.

• Safe travel in alpine areas.
• Self arrest.
• Ice axe crampon use.
• Route selection.
• Snow behaviour and characteristics.
• Survival skills snow shelters/tenting

Max 10 but can increase by getting an extra instructor. Lead instructor Chris Prudden with Shaun Moloney assisting

We will sort out the specialist gear closer to the date but if you wish to progress your alpine hunting you at least need to obtain:-

• Crampons,
• Ice Axe
• Helmet.

We will arrange hire for the other items avalanche transceiver & snow probe
