Wallaby Hunt 16th Sept 2016

About the hunt Pest control for wallabys, staying in the woolshed on the farmers property.  Weather permitting, there will be hunting by spotlight from 4WD tracks, so bring warm clothes as snow is still possible and the country is high and steep. There will be an organised cull/ hunt during the day involving walking gullies and hills Dates: Fri 16th, Sat 17th & Sun 18th Sept Where: Hayes Road, Kurow see map https://goo.gl/maps/CHDyX Who: Members Only, Everyone welcome — no maximum number The plan:  Head up Friday night—share rides. Camping in the newly built woolshed, bring your own sleeping stuff, beer & food.  Like last time there will be a few BBQs brought up so cooking is much easier, although bring camp cookers for tea and coffee etc. There is running water but no toilets, but it’s a woolshed so be prepared should it turn cold. Public toilet is at the end of the farmers track 15 min drive away Essential: The farmer has asked that we do a systematic cull. Therefore there will be a plan and a  health and safety waiver for everyone to sign on arrival. Please respect the rules - anyone breaking them will be asked to leave. Parties will be separated into different gullies for safety You can drive to the woolshed in a car - although 4WDs are recommended. You can bring dogs but you must have a worming certificate from the vets.
